What we actually do

Versatec sits at the intersection of three things most IT organizations touch on a regular cycle: buying new AI-ready hardware, dealing with equipment that's coming out of production, and handling the compliance and reporting that goes with both.

On the buy side, we're a broad-market bulk buyer — GPU servers, server memory, SSDs, MacBooks and other Apple business fleets, Windows business devices, networking, and mixed decommission lots. We quote fast, we take the messy stuff, and we settle promptly.

On the build side, we're the hardware technical resource behind Brain Farm USA, sourcing and configuring the GPU servers, storage, and networking that power private AI deployments. The same bench builds AI systems for other clients that don't want a hyperscaler contract for their private data.

On the recovery side, we're R2-certified — the standard for responsible electronics recyclers — and we run structured programs with certified data destruction and full chain-of-custody documentation.

The certifications

Versatec, LLC operates under R2 (Responsible Recycling) certification for electronics management. In practice, that means every device that passes through a recovery engagement has serialized chain-of-custody documentation, and data destruction is documented to NIST 800-88 standards where required.

The people

Our team has spent years on the practical side of hardware — sourcing, testing, moving, and grading it. That background is what lets us take on untested lots, complicated site decommissions, and AI hardware builds where the difference between a working stack and a broken one is a firmware revision.
