MIXED & BULK LOTS

Sell decommission lots and mixed IT inventory.

Mixed pallets, whole-room clean-outs, and refresh-cycle inventory — one point of contact, one quote, one check.

One quote for the mess.

Most IT retirements aren't clean categories — they're a mixed pile of laptops, desktops, monitors, servers, cables, and "whatever was on that shelf." Quoting that with multiple specialty buyers is a project of its own.

Versatec takes lots as they are. Mixed vendors, mixed generations, and mixed conditions all quote together, and everything ends up documented under one R2 chain-of-custody. That means one point of contact through the whole engagement and one settlement at the end — not eight.

What helps us quote fast

A rough breakdown by category is enough — "about 200 laptops, 40 servers, some networking, a room full of monitors." Photos of the space or of the pallets are very useful. Location and rough timeline help us plan logistics.

Questions

Common questions about this category.

Do you sort the lot before quoting, or just give one number?

Both, depending on preference. We can quote the whole lot as one line, or we can break it out by category (laptops, servers, networking, etc.) if that's cleaner for your reporting.

Do you take stuff that's genuinely broken?

Yes. Broken, missing parts, no boot — we take it. Under R2, we route non-recoverable material to audited downstream recyclers rather than sending it back to you.

Do we need to palletize before pickup?

For smaller lots, ideally yes. For larger engagements, we bring packing and can palletize on-site.

Can you handle the data destruction paperwork?

Yes. Serialized certificates of destruction (wipe or shred) are part of the engagement report.

How is this different from your ITAD program?

It's not different — it's the same engagement, described from the seller's perspective. See our asset recovery page for the full program view.
